We run a range of different levels for adults throughout the week.

These are the different levels of dance class available:

Beginners classes

Complete Beginners classes are suitable for those with no previous dance experience. See our Beginners Class page for more details.

If you have some previous dance experience in latin & ballroom, or have danced to a high level in another style of dance, choose a Beginners 2 class.

Novice/Improvers classes

Novice classes are for those with around 1 year’s experience in a ballroom and latin dance class. If you have more than 1 year’s experience, choose an Improvers class.

Intermediate/Advanced classes

Our intermediate and advanced classes have been running for several years, and are tricky for newcomers to join unless you have several years’ experience in latin and ballroom dance, and can pick up new routines quickly and easily.

Children’s classes

We teach classes for a range of ages, from age 3 to age 18. These are suitable for children of all ages, and no previous experience is necessary. Please see our children’s class page for further information.

Absolutely hooked

I’m really glad that we found Saturn Dance; after only 4 months we now know steps of 10 dances. Our range of steps and technique may not be at Strictly level but we can get up and dance to so many different rhythms. The classes are so informal and fun and everyone seems to make surprising progress.

We have met some lovely people in the classes and the Socials every 4- 6 weeks are a great way to practice the steps and get some extra tuition . So much to offer

There are extra practice sessions once a month, which is ideal for those of us whose kitchens are too small to practice at home. There are monthly social dances: great fun with loads of support from fellow dancers and teachers. There is even a glitter ball!
