Newport classes start 7th Jan

Latin and ballroom classes for beginners will be starting on 7th January 2012 at The Riverfront, Bristol Packet Wharf, Newport NP20 1HG.

The classes will run on Saturdays for six weeks as follows:

4pm – 5pm Ballroom

5pm – 6pm Latin

There is no need to bring a partner. Classes cost £3.50 per class, £20 for the full six weeks of either ballroom or latin, or £35 for both.

Strike action: classes cancelled

All classes have been cancelled on Wednesday 30th November due to strike action. Plasnewydd Community Hall will be closed for one day: we apologise for the inconvenience. Only our Wednesday classes will be affected and we’ll be back to normal on Wednesday 7th December.

Why not come along to one of our other classes instead this week – all other classes are running as normal.

January beginners class

Our January beginners class will run on Wednesdays at 8.15pm at Plasnewydd Community Hall. It will start on Wednesday 11 January 2012.

There is no need to book in advance, just come along on the night and you can enrol for the class there.

Prices are £6 per person, or £10 for a couple – and there is a discount in place if you pay up front for the course: 6 weeks for the price of 5, and 12 weeks for the price of 10.

Next beginners class: 3rd Nov

Our next complete beginners class in latin and ballroom dance starts on Thursday November 3rd.

The class will take place at St Mary’s Parish Hall, Canton, Cardiff on Thursdays at 9pm. You don’t need a partner, or any prior dance experience. Just bring yourself and a sense of humour and be prepared to have some fun!

Price freeze!

We have frozen our prices for the new academic year – all class prices will remain the same until September 2012.

Adult classes will remain at the current price of £10 per couple and £6 per individual. Children’s classes are frozen at £4.50 and £5.

We hope this helps you with your budgeting  in the run-up to Christmas!

Beginners class – join now!

It’s not too late to join our complete beginners class!

Our current beginners class is on a Wednesday evening at 6.15pm at Plasnewydd Hall. It starts on September 7th, but don’t worry! You can still join this class, up to week 3 (21st September) without any previous experience.

Alternatively if you would like to book a private lesson to catch up to the class, please get in touch for our availability.

Venue change for Thursdays

We will be at St Catherine’s Hall on Thursdays until October 2011.

St Mary’s Parish Hall is closing for refurbishment over the summer, so we are moving around the corner to St Catherine’s Hall on Kings Road. The works were scheduled to finish mid-September but have been delayed, so we will continue to be at St Catherines until October (exact date to be confirmed).
